Bright and early Wednesday morning we headed to Diamond Head. This 0.8 mile hike (1.6 miles round trip) was completely worth it. The views from the top were stunning. And seeing the old military bunker was pretty cool too. As we hiked the trail (which is now paved to avoid erosion) we tried to imagine all the military folks who were carrying all those supplies up to the bunker! What a workout!
