A few weeks ago, Adam and I took Friday off and headed down to Wilmington for his cousin Kaitlyn's wedding. We stayed at the Hilton Riverside near where the reception was being held. I fell in love with the city while we were there. The weather was beautiful. The community was wonderful - very liberal. There were lots of original, non-chain restaurants, many of which had patios that were dog friendly. People were genuinely nice and the beach was just 15 minutes away! What's more to want??
We had a great time seeing Adam's family and the wedding was beautiful. Due to a windy spell and impending rain, the beach wedding had to be moved to the reception site but it was still beautiful. The reception and wedding were held at the
Brooklyn Art's Center, a converted 19th century church.
