Adam's "Completely Unrelated to this Blog" Blog

I'm not sure who has been playing Red Dead Redemption by Rockstar. I've been playing it since it came out and have been impressed so far. The game is expansive, engaging and just plain fun!

There is a part in the game (about 1/3 of the way through) that just gave me goosebumps. John Marston (the character you play as) has just crossed over into the vast expanse of Mexico. You're on a mission to find a friend from your old gang and take him out all so you can get back to your wife and kid. So far you've been shot at and lied to by all sorts of nefarious characters. You're alone on your quest to get back to your family.

Now you're riding through Mexico, alone. Then this song starts playing. It is, by far, the best game experience I have ever had.

The first video is someone actually riding into Mexico to the music. The second is a trailer put together by Rockstar. Just an amazing cinematic experience.
